Realistic Graphite Portraits
This two day workshop will help you to bring your drawings to a whole new level of realism and depth. Combining short demos followed by hands on applications of each technique along with one-on-one instruction.
You will learn:
an in depth overview of the materials used to make the process successful for any subject matter
how to choose great reference photos
an easy way to create accurate line drawings right from the start
realistic shading and textural techniques.

In one day you can have your own free online portfolio up and running. Blogs are a great way to share your products with prospective collectors, galleries and friends.

create your own Google account
create your own free blog and have it up and running in class
learn how to navigate the Blogger interface to manage your blog on your own
add your own bio and profile image
customize your blog and much more.

Everything around us is a composition of some kind: a tree, a mountain, a city; rocks, bushes, flowers, bugs, animals, water, snow, food, textures, people, faces, expressions, buildings, bridges, skies, colors... the list is endless for artists to interpret.
The photos on this website are my interpretation of what I see around me. Everywhere I go and everything I see is under consideration. I have spent a good deal of my life drawing and sketching, and taking art classes along the way. Horses in particular have been my passion, but I also love trees and landscapes.
