The Port Moody Art Association is proud to present its 43rd Annual Show and Sale of Original Paintings at the Port Moody Social Recreation Centre, 300 Ioco Road, Port Moody, B.C., Canada.You are cordially invited to attend the opening Friday, November 5th 2010 from 7:30 to 10pm. Framed original paintings by member artists will be showcased. Artists will be in attendance. The Port Moody Art Association has continuing exhibits of members works on the East main floor hallway and the West 2nd floor hallway at the Eagle Ridge Hospital, 475 Guilford Way, Port Moody, B.C. (map), and the Port Moody Police Main Station at 3051 St. Johns Street, Port Moody, B.C.

Paintings are changed approximately every six months. Exchanges will be announced at meetings and by the phoning committee. Detailed information can be obtained from our outside hanging committee chairperson.

The Port Moody Art Association began in 1967 with a handful of artists. By the club’s second year, it had over 30 members. Today, the Association has a 100-member membership and a waiting list for membership. If you are an Artist living in the Tri-cities and are interested in joining our Association, please download the application form listed under Contact Information below, and remit per instructions.

Reminder: All meetings are from 7:00 to 9:00pm.
From January to June, we do not meet the first Monday of each month.
From September until December, we meet every Monday unless otherwise notified.
Twelve attended meetings between October 1st to September 30th are required to display in the Fall Show.

Membership dues are now $55.00 and dues are payable by November 30th, 2010 for 2011.
