People's Choice awards, 2015 show

  • Favourite painting:

"INNOCENCE" by Stephen Man-Fai Cheng. Stephen has been a professional artist for over 30 years. He graduated from the "Hong Kong Fine Art College" and studied under the direction of some of China's most famous painters and art professors. His instructors taught him to observe life and to try to capture the essence of the subject at hand. His talents are many and diverse - oil portraits, murals, set design for theater and opera, and teaching.  Stephen has described his work as "large poems that glorify the joy and peace of the inner self, which gives us a chance to dream".

  • Runner-up favourite painting:

"SPIRITS OF THE FOREST" by Jack Prasad. Jack is a self-taught artist from Fiji. He has been a member of our association for over 25 years. His mediums have ranged from pen and ink to watercolours, and his favourite, acrylics. He also works with fluorescent mediums in his black light studio. His inspiration for his collection of forest  paintings comes from his travels throughout our Province.......each art piece is a memory of what he has experienced with his own eyes,

Artist with the most votes, 2015 show
