| Joy is a self taught painter. Her work reflects the outdoors and her garden which has been an inspiration for many of her paintings. She has been experimenting with different techniques and uses acrlyc, oil, pastels, often combining a number of them together for very unusual effects. Every piece is different and unique. She has had a number of paintings accepted into juried shows at White Rock and Surrey Festival of the Arts .Her work is displayed at her home, and is for sale. She also makes cards from her paintings. | |

| She is presently showing her work in the Arts 2010, a juried exhibition of local art at the Surrey Art Gallery July 3-August 29, 2010. She was in the White Rock Juried art show in June 2002, and the Surrey Festival of the Arts 2002 in July,Aug. | |
