|Ever since a young child, I have always enjoyed making things with my hands. Growing up, I considered myself more a crafter, than an artist. Then, I loved experimenting with everything and anything: from salt dough and rocks, to butcher twine and shells. I even tie dyed the sails of my dad's boat during the 60's.
Time passed and even more media were explored. But on the eve of this new millennium, I rediscovered textiles. Fabric: colourful, brightly patterned, and not having to be sewn into something that fit. A whole new world opened up that continues to delight and fascinate.
