“This evening’s demo entitled "A Splash of Spring" features Sunshine Coast artist Bruce Edwards.
It will be a still life watercolour demo with a focus on colour, shape and value rather than botany.
Bruce Edwards has been a muralist, instructor and graphic designer for more than twenty years. He has taught at the elementary, high school and adult levels throughout the Northwest and Alaska and has completed commissioned works for numerous municipalities. He has been an instructor for Seniors Making Art (Instructor of the Year 2005} and instructing summer workshops for the Frye Museum since 1999.
Bruce studied Art and Merchandising at Vancouver City College and spent 2 years at the Vancouver School of Art now known as Emily Carr.
After many years of painting and teaching in Alaska, Arizona, North Dakota and Washington, Bruce returned to his Canadian roots in 2011. He and his wife, Deborah moved to a small cabin in Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia where he is actively paintingand instructing classes.

This event is open to Non-members (see details on our website) for a nominal fee. The event is being held at the "Coach House" onsite at Hycroft, Tuesday April 19 at 6:30 pm ,1489 McRae Ave, Vancouver, parking around the Crescent.
