The first of our summer sketching events July 8th

July 8th, Wednesday, 11am-2pm

That's the date and time of our first Sketching and Plein Air Painting for the summer.  We are meeting up at Terra Breads in the Olympic Village and from there we will find suitable spots to sketch and enjoy the environment.

If you are considering coming along and joining us, we will try and do last minute weather updates to ensure that we will be getting together.  Usually we have been able to paint and sketch in many of these locations even if the weather is a bit spotty.

Bring your hat, sunscreen, paints and sketching gear and a chair and come join us.  Most of us bring our lunch as well, but at the Village there is a number of places to pick up something.

Metered parking is available all around the Village.  There is underground parking at Urban Fare.  Main Street Skytrain station is the closest if you us the system and Bus #84 along 2nd is also a good access to the Village. Otherwise, any of the buses that come along Main Street #3, 8 or 19 will drop you off at Main Street or up around 2nd and Main.

If you are biking, there are some places in the center square to park your bike.
